* Research comets that are historically, scientifically, or otherwise significant.

* Write a creative narrative based on their research.

Note: This should be done using MS Word and saved to a
a floppy disk provided by the Internet Lab. Disks
are to be turned in to Mr. Fi at the end of
each class.

Areas of Concentration:

Utilizing the Internet, in this lesson students research some the more notable comets such as: Wild 2, Halley, and Shoemaker-Levy 9. Using the Internet and other research materials students will write and report on their findings about selected comet.
